RAID also known as Redundant Array of Independent Disk, initially called as Redundant Array of Inexpensive Disk is a storage technology that comprises multiple disk drive components into a single logical unit. “RAID” term was first coined by David Patterson, Garth A Gibson and Randy Katz at the University of California, in the year 1987. Generally, data are distributed among these drives in one of several ways called “RAID levels”, depending on the level of redundancy and performance required. Now days, RAID is used as an umbrella term for computer data storage schemes that can divide and replicate files among several physical disks. It is an example of storage Virtualization and array that can be easily accessed by the operating system as one single drive.  The different architectures or levels of RAID are RAID 0, RAID 1, RAID 2, RAID 3, RAID 4, RAID 5, RAID 6 and RAID 10. Each level provides a different balance between reliability, availability, performance and capacity. RAID 5 or Redundant Array of Inexpensive Disks 5 is used to enhance the availability and access of the network, and to enhance system uptime. RAID 5 also provides protection against bad sectors with read errors and whole disk failure. There are instances when RAID functionality becomes faulty or less sufficient due to some internal errors, so its recovery becomes vital especially for professional users because they are at a risk of losing their  valuable data. In such cases to recover data from RAID 5 you need to make use of reliable data recovery software.

Functionality of RAID 5 involves several disks, which works as a single unit in a combined form. There are many issues which are probable and regularly faced by system hard disk which results in loss of important data. The most common RAID 5 array problems that most of us come across are bad disks due to which the array goes offline. Likewise there are many viruses which directly affect the array and make it corrupt. Most commonly there are scratches on the disk tray surface, which results in data loss from RAID 5. Also the repetitive overwriting of files stored may also result in such disk problems. Since RAID 5 is a combination of many disks, so even if one disk is corrupted or damaged, it will cause malfunction of the whole array. The performance may decrease, or the whole disk may become unreadable. They still try to use the damaged disk may result in bad effects to the whole RAID 5 array. Data stored on RAID 5 can also be lost due to failure of the controller or missing partitions. A whole partition may become unreadable or unstable due to a single corrupt partition in RAID 5 array. Additional reasons which results in data loss from RAID 5 includes crash of any sensitive application, unintentional or abrupt shutdown of system, corruption of any partition, or virus or malware attacks. In all such risks and failures, data recovery software is used for best results to regain lost data. It is considered as a vital tool nowadays to recover data from RAID 5 disk after corruption.

Data recovery software is quick and efficient in performing file recovery from damaged RAID 5 array. It is the most reliable recovery tool that can restore your data from lost/missing partition, formatted, re-formatted partitions and re-partitioned drives from all the latest versions of Windows operating system. Moreover, you find this software helpful to restore data from Toshiba HDD after FAT table corruption that may occur due to many reasons which cause huge data loss to the user. It supports recovery from all versions of FAT file system i.e., FAT12, FAT16 and FAT32. This tool is also capable enough to perform recovery of deleted/lost or corrupted NTFS partitions. You can also undelete files including media files such as images, audio files, video files, raw images, data from RAID0, RAID1, and RAID5 partitions etc. You can find files from the recovered data based on date, creation date, extension, size, and file name. You can also recover data from WD Passport & other brands of external HDD after file system corruption, virus attack, accidental deletion, format error, etc. Gain More in the provided page regarding loss of data from WD Passport. You can even obtain the demo version of this software which is freely available in internet. So just keep your worry aside and make use of this data recovery application which can also recover data from formatted hard disk in just a few steps. Once you are satisfied with recovery result, then you can purchase the full version of this software. Later you can save the recovered data into any accessible drive or CD/DVD.
